We can also produce custom notebooks to fit alongside other printed materials, such as presentation folders, conference packs or presentation boxes. Tell us how the notebook will be used and we’ll help you choose the most practical size.
For bound notebooks, the inner pages are held together using a binding such as wiro or perfect binding and are designed to remain part of the book. The cover uses a heavier stock to protect the pages and give the notebook a more substantial feel.
For glued pads, the individual sheets are glued together along one edge and designed to be easily removed after use. A rigid backing board supports the pad and makes it easier to write on without a desk or other hard surface underneath.
For the writing pages, 80–90gsm is a practical everyday choice that keeps larger page counts economical. Moving up to 100–120gsm gives the pages a more substantial feel and can reduce show-through when writing on both sides.

Lithographic printing — litho for short — is a great choice when you need a larger quantity of high-quality print with consistent colour from the first copy to the last. It’s particularly well suited to brochures, books, magazines, reports and other publications where quality and cost across a longer run matter.
The process uses printing plates to transfer ink via a rubber blanket onto the paper. It takes more time to set up than digital printing, but once the press is running it can produce larger quantities very efficiently and economically.

Digital printing prints directly from a digital file without the need for printing plates, making it ideal for shorter runs, fast turnaround, personalised printing and projects where quantities or content may vary.
Not generally. Digital printing allows us to produce very small quantities economically, so if you only need a handful of copies, that’s fine. Litho printing has more setup involved and becomes more cost-effective as quantities increase. Tell us what you need and how many you’re likely to use, and we’ll recommend the most sensible quantity and print method for your budget.
Quickly. Send us the details of your job and we’ll usually get a quote back to you the same working day. If you know the quantity, finished size, paper and finishing you need, include those too — but if you’re not sure, that’s fine. For all jobs we provide a pdf proof so you can check that everything looks right before we print the job. A printed proof for you to check can be built into the estimate so you just have to ask when you request your quote.
